Technical Principles Of Humidity Analyzers

Jun 18, 2026

Technically, humidity analyzers primarily rely on different types of sensors, such as capacitive, resistive, or dew point sensors, to detect changes in humidity. Capacitive sensors reflect humidity by measuring changes in the capacitance between dielectric layers, offering advantages such as fast response and good stability. Resistive sensors utilize changes in resistance caused by humidity variations, making them suitable for detecting humidity in the low to medium range. Dew point sensors indirectly determine humidity by measuring the temperature at which the gas reaches saturation (i.e., the dew point temperature), making them particularly suitable for applications requiring high-precision measurements.
