1. Disconnect Power and Empty Residual Water: Before cleaning the ultrasonic humidifier, first disconnect the power and empty any remaining water from the machine.
2. Exterior Cleaning: Generally, using clean water and a soft cloth is sufficient to clean the exterior of the humidifier. If the exterior is dirty and oily, it is recommended to use a diluted neutral detergent with a soft cloth to wipe the exterior. After thoroughly removing the dirt, wipe the exterior again with clean water until it is clean.
3. Remove Scale: After a period of use, scale easily accumulates inside the water tank, water reservoir, transducer, and other parts of the ultrasonic humidifier. Therefore, regularly removing scale is an important task in cleaning ultrasonic humidifiers. The main steps are as follows:
a) Prepare a dedicated limescale cleaner;
b) Prepare clean water (preferably softened water) and a dedicated brush;
c) Pour the cleaner onto the limescale-covered surface of the machine;
d) Soak for 5 minutes, then clean the limescale with clean water and a soft brush;
e) Thoroughly clean the areas where the limescale cleaner was applied with clean water;
f) Continue using the machine or allow it to air dry before carefully storing it.
