1. Environmental Monitoring
By monitoring the concentration of gaseous components in the atmosphere, air pollution levels can be assessed, allowing for appropriate interventions. This includes measuring the concentrations of carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, sulfur oxides, etc.

Gas analyzers used to measure factory exhaust gases are also called exhaust gas analyzers. The Air Pollution Prevention and Control Law mandates that facilities generating smoke and fumes must install exhaust gas analyzers, which are widely used for environmental monitoring.

 

2. Medical Applications
Gas analyzers are also used in medicine, primarily for diagnosing or treating respiratory and metabolic diseases. Lung function tests measure the concentration of gaseous components in exhaled breath, while blood gas analysis measures the concentration of gaseous components in blood.

Medical gas analyzers require high-precision measurements and are designed for ease of operation by medical personnel. Especially in emergency situations or in ambulances, rapid and accurate measurements are crucial, making ease of operation paramount.

 

3. Industrial Processes
Used for process control in chemical plants and manufacturing facilities. Measuring the concentration of gaseous components in a reactor helps with process optimization and quality control. In the food industry, the concentration of gaseous components in the air inside packaging is sometimes measured to assess freshness and quality.
