Gas Analyzer Principle

Gas analyzers primarily utilize gas sensors to detect the types of gases present in the environment. Gas sensors are used to detect the composition and concentration of gases. Generally, the definition of a gas sensor is based on the target being detected; that is, any sensor used to detect the composition and concentration of a gas is called a gas sensor, regardless of whether it uses physical or chemical methods. For example, sensors that detect gas flow rate are not considered gas sensors, but thermal conductivity gas analyzers are important gas sensors, even though they sometimes use largely the same detection principle.
